What Debriefing Retreats look like

There is a rich dynamic that arises when people who are experiencing similar challenges are able to process with one another. You will have the opportunity to grow, learn and reflect individually, in small groups and as a large group. Debriefing and counseling are provided from a Christian Biblically based world view by pastoral care workers trained in debriefing and counseling skills. Prayer ministry is normally a part of this process, with the consent of those participating. Sessions are scheduled for the morning and afternoon, with plenty of breaks and creative processing time.

Supervision, training and confidentiality are managed according to guidelines of the Association of Christian Counselors (ACC) U.K.  We are also affiliated with Member Care Europe.

Space is limited so reserve your place as soon as possible!

Unfortunately, we do not have room for children at the Debriefing Retreats, so please do not plan to bring your children. We will, however, provide you with resources so you may take your children through a similar experience when you return home or you may apply to return another time with your children for a personal debrief.

Rooms are double occupancy during a retreat.

It is best to plan to arrive on a Sunday afternoon or evening and to leave the following Saturday morning. A celebration dinner will be held on Friday night, so please do not plan to leave on Friday. If you want to stay longer in the area,  details on local hotels are available upon request.
